HMVS Cerberus

The world's sole surviving substantially intact Monitor. This one-time Flag Ship of the powerful Victorian Naval Forces' was scuttled in 1926 as a breakwater - Half Moon Bay (Vic).

   

Clipper City of Adelaide

Built in 1864 she is one of just two composite Clippers to survive, the other being the Cutty Sark - Scotland

 

 

Barque Santiago

Probably the oldest iron sailing ship in existence, abandoned in the "ships' graveyard" - Adelaide (SA).

 

 

Princes Pier

Port of Melbourne's second railway pier - vandalized & derelict - Sandridge (Vic).

   

MV Cape Don

Australia's sole surviving lightship, currently undergoing refurbishment by the "MV Cape Don Society" - Balls Head - Sydney (NSW).

   
Mawson's Huts Complex

Base camp for the legendary Australian explorer's ill-fated polar expedition - Australian Antarctic Territory.

   

Urana

A 26' carve built, skipper stern launch recently purchased by Neil Farmer from Ed Lewis at Taren Point NSW, at Sep '07 is currently undergoing restoration works. It is understood she was built at Williamstown (Vic) in 1901 and used to transport Melbourne River Pilots up and down the Yarra river in the early 1900's. We are interested to hear from anyone who can provide information about the vessel's history - NSW.

   
Big Lizzie

At the time it was constructed in Richmond (Vic) Big Lizzie was the biggest tractor ever made - Red Cliffs (Vic).

   
Prince Alfred Bridge and
     the Gundagai Rail Bridge

Spanning the Murrumbidgee River flood plain since 1867 the road bridge was joined in 1903 by a rail bridge enabling extension of the line to Tumut - Gundagai (NSW).
